Discovery 5 Demo day - not a good start
Arrived at 8.30 at Marshalls Newbury to collect a D5 for the day as arranged, other than receptionists there was nobody there, nobody knew about the demo arrangement and eventually the receptionist found somebody who would look into it.
Person and demo never materialised so clearly they don't want the business.
I'd hoped that what was Ridgeway might have been improved with the takeover but unbelievably it's worse, not surprised they only have 1.5 out of 5 on trustpilot!

Such a shame, and a blot on Land Rovers customer services.
If it were me and you are still interested in test driving a D5, either email LR customer relationship centre (lradvice@jaguarlandrover.com), or alternatively give another dealership a call (or even do both!).
I'm in Basingstoke, so not too far away from Newbury, so would recommend my local dealership Harwoods in Basingstoke, they are on (01256 637286). Always been very good to me and have a bunch of very keen sales people. They also have a good stock of demo cars, so getting you into a D5 for a test drive shouldn't be too hard.
