I followed a Discovery from Yeovil to the Sparkford roundabout on the A303 yesterday and wondered in awe at the central number plate.
Then when we slowed/stopped at the roundabout I could see that it was a Discovery Sport !!!!
Why oh why wasn't the number plates on all Discovery's mounted central
The back end was as dirty as mine, so No, I couldn't spot the difference until up close and was able to see 'Sport' among the gunge
Another thing I did notice was the lack of the small 'pop-out' oblong shape at the back of mine and not the Sport. Can anybody tell me what it was originally intended for, I popped mine out to have a look and all I could see was the spare Tyre !!
All real Discoveries had off set plates but now there are 'Discoveries' flying around all over the place with Evoque and Sport in small letters just off to the left.
Even vehicles running around with Range Rover in big letters but small letters stating that it is not a real Range Rover.
It is all, to me anyway, a bit confusing.
