    2017 Discovery Td6 HSE Corris Grey

    3 months early

    I placed a deposit in early december for a may build slot and july delivery.

    Had my test drive today and asked the dealer how long I had before the order was locked in.

    After a few minutes he came back and told me my car is on the production line and will be coming before the end of march (so I'll beat the tax changes).

    Rather surprised and glad I spent some time on what I thought was only a draft specification.

    Oh, and I've got the electrically deployable towbar too.

    That seems to tie in with my early Jan order, mid April delivery (also with electric tow bar).

    The D5 doesn't even hit America till May. My build date is sometime in June with delivery in July.

    I don't see that getting done earlier by much.

    Am I the only American on this site? LoL
