I'm not a tyre expert but it seem a little strange to me that the 19" and 21" rims have a 2cm wider tyre fitted than the 20". What gives? (Except my stupidity) Why not go for 275/50/20?

Also 19" tyre is 0.3% smaller (based on circumference) and 21" is 1% smaller. Is this within the error of the speedo or does the tyre size have to be taken into consideration with the speedo / odometer setup in the factcory?

Thinking about speedometer accuracy with tyre size, there is a speed limit button that keeps you legal so would have thought Landrover would ensure accuracy?

Re tyre width (275 vs 255) for the 20" rims, It may just be a cost thing...

Looks like the fitted tyres for all 3 wheel sizes are about £170 each (Kwik-fit fitted prices) whereas the 275s on a 20" rim are £200.

Assuming fitting is the same, this would equate to £120 extra (or £150 with a FSS) for the 275/50/20

If 1/3 of the vehicles are sold with 20" wheels, the 20,000 orders would either incur an addition cost to JLR of £3million or they would have had to put the prices up accordingly.

    EDIT:
If you use Oponeo prices, the 275/50/20s are £50 each more! £250 extra per vehicle or $5m for the order book!

Will be interested to get size/type confirmation.

If 275/55/19 is correct for the 19" rims, they wont be fitted with Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season as they don't make that size.....

All pics I've seen of bigger rims seem to have these fitted.

    Thanks J77.

Will the recommended winter tyres (275/55/19 according to the manual) fit on those rims?
