    Hi chaps picked up my Car this morning and have tested the remote functions. There is no need to insert sim it must work off the inbuilt SIM card. It works perfectly, at the touch of a button on the phone you can set temperature and it will start the car remotely. I suspect we will use this a lot.
    Ps the car is fantastic!! Really pleased with it Smile

    Hi there my dates were:

    Build Date 27-1-17
    Delivery Date 17-3-17
    Planned Handover 22-3-17

    The dealer took delivery earlier last week and I collected this morning.

    Attaching a screen shot is beyond my limited capabilities, how do I do that?
    The remote APP has various functions one of which is called 'Remote Climate' within that you set the temperature to what ever you want then press 'Start Engine' and the car starts and runs for up to 30 mins. I've tried it once and it works well. Will try it again when I leave work. I understand this feature is only available on the high spec models, not sure which Ones though.

    My brother had a Range Rover Sport last year and it was 2 weeks later than planned. Dealer kept fobbing him off with logistics problems etc. When he phoned customer services they confirmed that the vehicle had failed final inspection and was in rectification.
    Any delays on mine and I will be checking with customer service rather than relying on the dealer. Especially the dealer he used anyway!
    When I'm not in the operating theatre, I'm mountain biking, spending time with my family, running and socialising. I have a Discovery 5 HSE Lux with pretty much every option ticked. This is my first ever Land Rover. Been a rocky road with regards to reliability but we're getting there.
