    2022 Discovery SDV6 HSE Carpathian Grey

    D5 preview

    Got a D5 HSE 3.0TD6 for a couple of days while the D4 is in the garage....very nice. The only problem is that it's making me impatient to get my own D5 3.0 SD6 with Adaptive Dynamics which is due to be built in 10 days.

    How long does it take from build to delivery?
    MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added
    MY2019 D5 HSE 3.0 SDV6 - sold to a dealer for a crazy price!

    Don't LR do a factory delivery like BMW do in Munich?

    I don't think so.

    It's due to be built on August 24th. I actually don't want it to be registered before September 1st as here in the UK we have date related registration which changes every 6 months. So, if registered before 1st September it would be on an "18" pate. After 1st September it will get a "68" plate and be worth a bit more when I come to sell it.

    I remember that, the last car I bought new in the UK was on an "02" plate.

    They do - they have quite a nice handover area at Solihull. I think it may be quite expensive unless you're very famous Laughing
