Bit the bullet
Placed an order for an HSE Lux, should be here for 21.12.18
https://build.landrover/B35E734F
First non Black Discovery since 2001. Still not happy with the colour of the interior, didn't want black seats, all my previous have been Almond, but this isn't an option anymore and I didn't like the beige (sh*t by moonlight) or the almost white leather.
Any experience on assumed date versus reality delivery date?
Thanks
Nick

You could buy half of Carpathia for that!!
You know I’m only messing. It’s only money, you can’t take it with you and and if you don’t spend it Corbyn will take it from you.

I did think with one post informing us that an order was being placed for an £85k car that the newbie was taking the pi55.

I'd be fascinated to know what you get back on the residual value in 3 years time with an options list longer than my M&S weekly shopping bill...
Dealer must love you!
(an amazing car btw, if that's a "real" order. Hope you have a blast in it!)

Been on Disco3.co.uk since the very early days. So just 1st post on this site! Been reading all of your problems and woes for a while and thought to myself that I needed to be less happy 😆
As Del says, cant take it with you, or as my old man said. Won’t buy your way into heaven, won’t buy your way out of hell.
Incidentally the NFU voucher gets a bit of discount off the price....

Aye, lucky you. I’ve given up trying to get the NFU to class my large garden as sufficient to get a qualifying membership.

Incidentally what % does it get, over and above what you get from the dealer?
I'd been toying with the idea of buying membership because we have some land in Scotland (not farmed, but who'd know - it's very remote!). But somehow, once again, I never got around to doing it.
All credit to you, you can't take it with you that's true. Or if you can, no one's told us yet!

10% discount.
Thing is I believe they can and do send round the local rep to check or that’s the impression I got when I looked into it.
