Drivers Footmat
I know this is the subject of a previous thread but I thought I'd refresh it as it's a couple of years since the question was asked.
Has any one found any floor mats that actually cover the drivers footwell? The Landrover one is hopeless and all the 3rd party manufacturers just copy it. Weathertech in the USA have a really good drivers one but it is of course only LHD and pretty expensive. No response from Weathertech Europe to my enquiry.

I cannot help but I will say its disappointing that Weathertech do not do a RHD version I have the LHD in mine and they are great

I'm wondering if the issue is that all of their mats are made in the US. They would need access to a RHD model to do the job. I seem to recall they were very proactive when it was realized that the load space mat needed to fit option depending on the AC option.
An owner let them have his vehicle to measure, I think.

They also have a page on their European website where you can ask for updates on when specific mats will be available.
They make 1st row mats for loads of other RHD cars, just not the D5.
In the meantime I've found a manufacturer who will make standard mats from a template and not too expensive either. I'll post when I find out more.

Can’t say it bothers me. I am using the carpet ones at the moment, but have a new set of rubber ones in the garage when the weather dictates it.
