Can someone do me a quick favour please..... Have a look at the rubber seal where the A pillar cover meets the windscreen. Do you have a 2-3 cm gap in the rubber seal near the top of the windscreen?
My car was delivered with a stone crack in the windscreen. The windscreen was replaced yesterday and after I got home, I noticed a gap in the rubber seal. I assumed it had been damaged but then discovered an identical gap in the other side. Two matching gaps could be by design rather than damage so I just need to know if they should be there or not before I make a fool of myself by complaining.
Thanks.

I had a windscreen replacement and noticed the alignment didn't seem correct. Dealer checked it and found out that repair company had basically pulled the trim off without realising the correct way of doing it, so just glued trims back in place - hence mis-alignment!
Now booked into body shop as repair needs to be carried out by them to rectify the fault. Costly mistake for windscreen co
