    Dilemma..........

Apologies, I know this has raised its head many times before but here I go anyway.
    I currently drive a D4 2013 SDV6 3.0L.
I do around 8000 miles a year, split around 50/50 between motorway and city driving. I do very little light towing.
    Heres my point:-
I am looking to order a D5 HSE for delivery on 1st March 2019.
My huge delima is which engine due to the oil dilution issues which are quite huge it appears. The TDV6 is being phased out and being replaced with the SDV6, however I am unable to gain any information due due to the newness.
The other alternative is the SD4 which has no oil issues, two years between services but doesn’t have the grunt of the 3.0L V6.
    Peoples thoughts are appreciated.

2022 Discovery SDV6 HSE Carpathian Grey

The SDV6 has been out since the beginning of September. I've had mine since then and driven 3000 miles so far with no signs of oil dilution yet.

The 306 Bump engine has noticeably more grunt than the D4 had. Thumbs Up

MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added
    MY2019 D5 HSE 3.0 SDV6 - sold to a dealer for a crazy price!

Reports are the 2lt has no problems whereas the 3lt does potentially.

If it’s anything like the D4, the only difference between the TD and SV was the name.
