Tailgate Blind
Hi,
I noticed this week that you can through the gap between the load space cover and the tailgate in my MY17 Disco. After a search I see there is a tailgate blind available. Should this be a standard item in an HSE? I got mine as an ex-demonstrator, so now wondering if it was removed and not put back when I collected it. Do others have this in theirs?

Yes, standard supplied with the car. Although I've removed mine to make room for the kit I carry in the boot.

I remember collecting my split new Disco and having to ask them at handover where it was? Seconds later it got produced. I still don’t know why they had it out in the first place or maybe they just pulled one from another car to shut me up.

I’ve already had the tailgate blind replaced twice now!
It’s no real surprise really because it on closing it hits something the plastic lugs that holds the blind break.
It’s a poor design and it’s because the rear door is curved. Even so though LR could have articulated the lugs holding the blind, so that when the blind hits something, like a dog! It could just hinge upwards rather than breaking the lug.
LR didn’t model that when they had their CAD pooch in the boot, did they!
