Knocking from rear

Hi All
Has anyone noticed a knocking coming from the rear of their car when either pulling away or at low speed. Ive noticed it from my car but when the LR technician has been in the car its never happened.
Any Ideas??

I had a knocking on mine,it was a loose spare wheel and the winch was fubarbed and wouldn’t tighten it up any more so went in under warranty and had a new one

I have a knock/thump when I accelerate quickly or if I brake sharply. It sounds like something loose in the middle pillar but cannot be made to do it on demand so the LR dealer cannot do anything

I had a long run over the last few days and that bl**** y clunk is getting on my nerves. Due for a visit to the dealer soon

I never did get the thump resolved so put up with it until I sold the vehicle back to the dealer.

Have you got electric locking rear diff? Had this on my last Disco, thump on takeoff as ediff engages, I believe there's a re-calibration procedure or it's a new diff, never sorted mine as traded for new 1 without ediff.

Possibly more noticeable when turning left whilst pulling away at a junction. It will be the transfer box. Could be fixed by an oil change and reset. Mine ultimately had to be replaced. I had to take an engineer out for a drive to prove it.

On further investigation with a willing helper in the back, mine seems to be coming from either drivers b-pillar or the drivers door. It happens on acceleration and braking alternately which suggest something is loose. Also now starting to notice it, but to a lesser extent, when going over speed bumps. Sounds like something heavy moving a few mm, My bet is something loose inside the door.
