    2019 Discovery SDV6 HSE Lux Carpathian Grey

    Has anyone taken delivery of an MY19 D5 with Adaptive Dynamics?

    If so, how does it handle ?

    I'm guessing due to the vague configurator its not configurable, but are there modes ?

    Yes, I specc'd it on mine.

    It was a bit of a leap of faith as mine was one of the first MY19s and it had only just become an option. I'm glad I went for it.

    It is on all the time, there are no options to control or adjust it. It is fully automatic.

    When the car needs soft suspension e.g. bumps in the road, potholes or off road, it has soft suspension and just floats along. When you give it some right foot and whizz along a twisty country road in a hurry, It adjusts the stiffness of each corner hundreds of times a second and keeps the car flat in the corner with no under or oversteer but without the harsh ride that you'd get from a traditional stiff/sporty suspension set-up. Thumbs Up

    It’s removed the understeer I had (on my MY18) at a roundabout that can be taken ‘robustly’

    Does the car stay more level now ?

    D5s without it can be a bit umm, bouncy when you push on, wondering how much AD negates that?

    If you have any in-depth back to back comparisons with a non AD D5 would love to hear it!
