Well mate I think you should post 100's of your D5 pics on the D4 forum just too rub, it in as I would. Mind you am not a show off either, but just too spite them, along with expletive phrases, BEEP BEEP BEEP !!!
That should do the trick. Agree we all have been looking forward too our new purchases, who wouldn't, but I would never slag anyone else's car as each too there own. Ha ha I maybe will join the D4 forum just too throw a spanner in the works. Am sure I will get banned within 24 hours tho, plus my pet hate are those armchair pundits who think they are experts on the D5, but probably not even sat inside one, let alone seen one. I could probably build a land-rover with all my experience and spare parts but I don't go bragging about it

I have been a member of 'the other site' since 2005 but have posted very little in recent years as I have found some of the bitching to be rather tiresome. Anyway . . . . .
The local LR dealer on Guernsey has just had it's D5 launch weekend so I finally got to see it in the metal. I don't think that photo's do it any justice as it looked even better and a lot bigger than I expected. Even the big ar$e looked better than I had anticipated and SWMBO and I love the interior. When I got back to my D4 SWMBO and I both commented that, despite being a fantastic and highly capable machine, it looked so out of date in comparison. Hopefully we will join the ranks of D5 ownership next year, once we have decided whether to go diesel or petrol. In the meantime I look forward to reading your reviews and updates.
All the best, John.
