Won’t Start
Sat here at home waiting for LR Assist car won’t start the battery is only reading 11.73 volts I’ve tried a jump start with a truck battery and nothing happens 😩
I’ve put it on charge while LRA arrive and see how it goes 🙄
Sod’s law I’m supposed to be in York at 11 😭

LRA turned up and after I’d had it on charge for 30 mins it started first click so he tested it and all was as it was supposed to be 🤨
So I’ve just been to York and back in it from Manchester and I’ve just tested it and it says
“Good battery Recharge”
and it is also kicking out 15 volts on tick over.
I have now put it on the CTEK charger to get it up to full voltage and see how I go from there,

Sounds like somethings been draining your battery.
Maybe a relay sticking in or maybe a dodgy switch or solenoid?

No door left open I check on the app every time it’s locked !
Give it a good charge with the ctek to fully charged and it’s reading 760 CCA out off 850 CCA good battery recharge 😳
Think the battery will be on its way out I’ll recharge again and recheck 🤨

Leaving the door open does not drain the battery. The car will go to sleep even with doors open after a while.
It could just be a dodgy battery

No dash cam.
Give it a good run yesterday so I’ll check the battery condition again this morning with my foxwell
And see what condition the battery is in.

I had an issue with the Battery draining.
The Dealer eventually changed the Rear Junction Box (fuse box..?)
This was due to a quiescent current drain when electrical items were shutting down and with a short in the rear function box the battery would drain.
Anyway, the new Rear Junction Box fixed it and it never happened again.

I’ve had the exact same problem 3 times in the past 6 months and there is no obvious reason for it.
It’s going back to the dealer for further investigation so I’ll show the technician the solution above.
It’s also got a creaking brake pedal which they might be able to put right.
So frustrating as other than these recurring issues it’s a lovely car.
