MPG from 2 Ltr D5
OK, I didnt buy the D5 for its economy, but every little helps, so yesterday did first "long" run - Brum to Heathrow and back, 220 miles - on half a tank (and I think the 2ltr has a 77l tr tank, smaller than the 3ltr), with trip comp (lie-o-meter, havnt disproved it yet
) showing 37mpg at 71mph avg for the trip, and range still showing 230 miles.
I'll take that given everything will still be a bit tight
Al
Now gone - D5 HSE 2Ltr in Corris with black roof, black & dynamic packs & 22" black alloys, a bit of a change after 2 D3's and 2 D4's

I have to say I am surprised at the long run economy of the 3.0, mine will do 36mpg on a long run where I keep the speed around 70 (year right lol)
no idea what the SD6 economy is like....

I get enough of a distance on a tank to forget when I last filled it up.

March 2017 2L SD4 with 30kish on the clock. I saw a steady increase in mpg between 10-20k. Now it seems to have dropped off a bit.
Average over 30k shows 37mpg. On a long run easily gets 40-43 and my best is 50+
on a trip to Cambridge.

Genius idea. Only allowed to drive on it at dawn, I guess. Pistols mandatory - that'd sort the road rage out.

The SD6 can manage high 30s...not managed over 40 except downhill with a tail wind.
MY2022 D5 HSE D300 - with extra nice bits added
MY2019 D5 HSE 3.0 SDV6 - sold to a dealer for a crazy price!

Not too bad considering the roads where I live tbh, you know twisty, up and down etc.
