Crumbs in (off road-) navigation?
Hi everyone,
If I remember correctly from my D4, I could have the ‘crumbs’ (like the Hansel&Gretel story) in the off road navigation mode to see where exactly I drove before. Something I found super handy when driving in the desert etc. so you could always find/take the same way back.
Is this feature gone with the D5, as I can’t find it?

I have not found any reference to 'off road nav' in the car or handbook either. I too had a D4 with that option. Perhaps it was decided it was unnecessary?

the remote app journeys function will record an off road route but as this function will not link to the vehicle sat nav it is not much use . The route can be sent as a csv file to an email address but again this is of little use for navigating

All journeys are recorded in the Remote app ...you can then email them in csv format AFAIK
EDIT beaten to it

But not all cars, not even HSE lux, have these remote apps, all depends on the JLR region it belongs to.
Anyhow, I didn’t like the D4’s navigation at all, but the one good thing it had were the ‘crumbs’, a pity that’s gone!

I’m sure it does something similar, I’ve noticed it when driving in the farms fields, next time I’ll see

Hmm, you make me curious... I really had a good look at the nav, but can’t find anything similar. But if you would see it again, please post, with picture if possible.

I'd be interested , must admit Ive not stumbled across it yet.
BUT in all honesty I'm either using WAZE on the road or Memory map/TW2 if I'm off the road.
One day someone will launch a vehicle with OS mapping built in.
