    MPG quite pleased

My 3.0 SDV now has 2000 miles. Recorded the mileage when full
Did 540 on a tank, filled up to click which was 79.2 litres
Exactly 31 mpg. Aberdeen return trip plus commuting for a week, I’ve been hard on
The pedal, plenty 80mph and short trips
Which means no matter how hard I drive, I’ll average 31
    Not bad
I know if I’m gentle - that should go up quite a bit
Thought worth sharing, also my average mpg indicator is 31.5
Not the usual factor high on calibration

the V6 is generally far more efficient than most people expect from what I can see. I have the old TD6, short run to station it will do closer to 25MPG, but generally its doing over 30 and like yesterday when in traffic that stopped me flooring it, I got 37 MPG.

Waiting for a long trip with caravan to see what it returns with 1800KG on the back lol

2023 D300 Metropolitan, Hakuba Silver, Low Range, Solar screen, Deployable towbar, FBH, sidesteps.

I get between 22 and 24 give or take with my van on the back which is plated at 2 ton. Thats the lie-ometer reading. Only two of us in the car so its fairly empty. Its slightly better than the D4 in my opinion.

I have a June 2017 3.0 litre D5 - Just completed a wee trip frm Aberdeen to York - sat at 60mph on the way down (as had plenty of time) and managed 41.9 mpg, return trip was at 70mph mostly Smile and managed 36.8mpg - from the amount of fuel to refill, these mpg readings are high by a couple of mpg - but not too far off.

That’s what I found strange my mpg matched
    Then remembered it hadn’t reset
So it’s rolling average is down because the first 500 miles
    It was 20mpg slowly rising
    I had a 3.0D 5 series a while back 2005 shape
When I booted it , 30-31, crawling to Aberdeen n back
    40
Funny LR can build a tank in 2019 that returns the same
The laws of physics don’t change much
Big lump of metal and a combustion engine on wheels
Driving my D4 like a pensioner managed 32
Doesn’t matter a monkeys but get a kick out of checking
    It Shocked
