306ps avg mpg and service interval
Hi new on here but been lurking a while and am about on d2.net and ffrr forums.
Was just wondering what sort of mpg do people get out of the 306ps sdv6?
Plus how often are they requiring service? Have heard a few horror stories every 5k or less with dpf regens getting the blame.

Mine is still on schedule to have its first service at 16000 miles / 1 year.
My mpg varies a lot. Motorway cruising gets 35-40mpg, town traffic and country lanes get about 25 mpg,

Thank you. Currently running a tdv8 4.4 with similar ps and mk1 figures but heavier vehicle. Just contemplating the change.

Mine has averaged 36mpg over 2000 miles. Mid 40s on steady motorway / A road journeys. Very little town driving. Service interval on track for year 1.

In the D5 around June 2018, but it’s the same engine as in the RR Sport, which has it for some years now.

3600miles now and 36-42mpg max on long motorway journeys...much less around town which is the norm ...very pleased indeed with this sd6 engine

I know not quite same, but my Td6, fuel economy never changed (sometimes perfectly acceptable, other surprisingly good) but as soon as it hit 18000 miles there was a noticeable step up in performance.
