    probably an inexperienced caravanner either towing with an inadequate towcar or loading their caravan poorly.

    Having towed our twinaxle for over 6 years, all places (stupidly narrow lanes, french motorways to the med twice) we have never experienced instability.
    2023 D300 Metropolitan, Hakuba Silver, Low Range, Solar screen, Deployable towbar, FBH, sidesteps.

    I lived and breathed it yesterday, 7 1/2 hours from Devon to Birmingham not a good day to be on the M5. Helicopter landed so some serious injuries

    Have to admit to preferring driving on french toll roads to uk motorways

    Here you are another image and it looks like a disco sport on the hard shoulder and press quoting Land Rover involved with caravan.
    Also blamed south bound drivers for taking photos and rubbernecking for delays!

    to be fair, a DS should have no issues towing a caravan like that, I guess none of us know the original cause of the instability

    It was a Defender
    there are some pictures about and it is on its roof and very badly squashed
    Namib Orange 1st Edition with black roof and wheels.
    Privacy, tow bar, drive pack, surround camera, heated front & rear seats, auto dim door mirrors, side steps, remote Pro, RSE, arm rest fridge dash cam front and rear.
