4x4 inclinometer
Hello All,
Just a small question.
I have noticed that my inclinometer seems to have a positive value when the car is going down-hill.
See photo.
Is this normal? I would have thought that downhill should be a negative value.
What does your D5 show?

Mine is the same. I tend to remember it as going uphill has a negative effect on performance / downhill positive. Not sure if there is a proper reason.

OK... Thanks for the reply. Good to know at least that my D5 is not at fault.

Inclinometer wrong
I just noticed that my inclinometer shows the D5 going uphill when I am in fact going downhill! And vice versa. Do you see the same error? Software or a wrongly installed sensor?

I know not helpful but I'm sure someone was going to say it

I was going to surgest rather than his inclinometer being at fault the seats were facing wrong way. But thought that was childish. But now said it.

Never knew I had one, but yes I do after checking. Yet another superfluous item I won’t use.

Just for info... My D5 has had this issue over the last 2 updates. I even mentioned it to LR and nothing has changed.
Fortunately... It is not something that I need to use, bit it is still quite surprising that LR can make auch a BASIC mistake and not resolve it!!

Thanks nebc100 for actually answering my question. I agree it is not a big deal, but as you say, just very surprising that LR can allow such an error not to be fixed despite being informed about it...

Which update?
To my knowledge, my D5 is on the latest update and the issue is still there

Mine is on 21c and it is the Wrong Way.
When I am going uphill, it claims I am going downhill

Probably doesn’t help but checked this on my car with Pivi Pro and it’s the correct way around.
