    Service costs

    Hello all,

    Can anyone here tell me what the approximate price of a standard 1st service on a 2017 td6 would be from a dealer.

    I am just trying to get an idea.

    Mine's in today for it's first service.

    2018 Td6. 12 months old with 18,000km on the clock.

    290 euros including VAT/tax and also including a small loyalty discount.

    The first service is just oil/filter, cabin filter and levels topped up and a revision of all points. Nothing much to it.

    Not exactly cheap, but they have updated it to S19B and activated the Smartphone Pack and gave me a courtesy car so I won't complain too much Very Happy

    I am completely fed up with the dealer her, and NEVER want to go back to them......... EVER.

    I take it to a official LR authorised workshop close to Barcelona.

    They are a great little garage with fantastic customer service but they are not a main dealer - the only sales they make are from official accessories and service/repair work, not cars.

    Bit too far for me to go. Smile

    I just got a price quote from LR in Trier, and they firstly want to have copies of all my car papers (even though I had given them the chassis number) before they can give me a price quote. They then quoted me €700!!!!

    Another dealer (this time in France) has quoted approximately 400 for the service.

    An indy (that used to be head mechanic at LR in Luxembourg) has quoted me 370.

    Just waiting for one more, and then will make a decision which one I will go to.

    Also been in contact with CC to get confirmation that it won't invalidate my warranty.

    I’ll have mine tomorrow (2018 TD6) at official JLR dealer, the only one in the country... will post the price!
