Nice spec. I have a HSE Lux with everything on it and I love it. All I would say is that if I was ordering again I would save myself over a grand by not ordering park heater. The app which allows you to start the car is far more effective and what's more, it will work more effectively in the summer when you want to cool the car down.
You probably have time to change your order if you want to but that's just my view after having the car for about 10 days.

When I'm not in the operating theatre, I'm mountain biking, spending time with my family, running and socialising. I have a Discovery 5 HSE Lux with pretty much every option ticked. This is my first ever Land Rover. Been a rocky road with regards to reliability but we're getting there.

    Hi Doc

I thought that the only way to get the car to heat / cool remotely or on a timer was to order this option? That what the dealer told me.

I'm confused, what does the car come with as standard?

    Thanks

You will get this, an InControl app which starts car remotely from Phone & you can set the temperature you desire.

Different from FBH as it starts car engine.

Did you order the ebony/windsor seats with or without the massage feature?

Now I'm really confused! Dealer told me that there was no longer a FBH heater option on the new Disco. The remote climate option that you've shown Peter is what I thought I was getting for the extra grand?

So, to be 100% clear, I pay for Remote Parking Heater and I get a FBH, the same as in my D4 but with that option, I can't operate Remote Climate which starts the engine and sets a desired temperature (heat or cool)?

De-select the Remote Park Heater, save a grand and I still get Remote Climate?

Sport Coupe, I didn't go for the massage feature. I got totally carried away with the options so thought I'd better draw the line somewhere! Laughing

Why not pop back to the dealer and ask for a demo of the app?

Then you can see for yourself?

I agreed with Jim ask dealers for demo.

I have an HSE and got InControl app for "free" !

    But please confirm with dealer.
Some of the things it does ....

FBH just heats the engine and eventually the inside of the car using a fuel burning heater which I imagine is fitted to all D5's - it is to most big diesel cars.
I used the remote once and then just switched to the app, it heat the car up much more quickly, doesn't emit loads of smoke from under the front of the car and just works perfectly.

    Peter,

How do you get to the screen to look at Coolant level, tyres, etc?

My phone is Android, is that the reason?

    Cheers
