    Tyres and Apple Car Play

Ok...so it is confirmed. Even with the newest S19b software, only certain vehicles can get Carplay.

As mentioned before, if your center console looks like this, you will not be able to get ACP:

If it looks like this (and with the SIM slot) you can get ACP:

As for tyres, I went for 265/60/20 BFG KO2’s. No rub and they look FANTASTIC!

Nice, even at full lock-to-lock steering angle, and no rubbing? Those pics make it look awful close....

Rubbing at full lock all summer up until I put on winter tyres, no ill effects. With a lift kit it’s even less pronounced. 😜

    2000 D2 (sold), 2004 D2 (sold), 2005 LR3 (Lives in CO), 2005 RR (sold), 2010 LR4 (sold), 2012 RR (sold), 2014 RR (sold), 2017 D5

I only get a minimum amount of VERY SLIGHT rub at full lock and only when the front is articulated on quite a slope.

But the rub is so slight that it doesn’t even cause a visual mark on the wheel liner plastics.

    Looks awesome RJ-Disco5.

I fitted 275 55 R20 Scorpion AT PLus's this morning. No rub at all.

Only concern I will have is when tyres are coated with sticky mud, is the possibility it may cause damage but I cant imagine it would be too bad?

You have the 18" Compy's, right? Don't remember the size you're running on those....

The guy at the tyre shop actually gave me a good idea.

Heat gun to the plastics and deform the area that rub ever so slightly....all sorted. There is no hard surface that rub. All just plastics.
