Thanks for that info... I just don't understand why they advertise them as having the snowflake three peaks symbol on the Good Year site then!!

Basically means I won't be getting them again when mine are worn out as they would no longer be legal during winter in Germany

There are sometimes different versions listed - "commercial" usually has 3pmsf wheras non-commercial may not.

And might be market specific as well, a while ago I checked official Goodyear websites and thought in the US you get the ‘winter’ compound and in EU we only get the ‘summer’ Duratracs.

    USA: winter:

    EU: summer:
    https://www.goodyear.eu/en_gb/consumer/tir...DTRAC.html

So they both exist, but not everywhere available and it’s clearly mentioned winter/summer

I just thought I would add this info regarding the Duratracs on sale in the EU:

I sent an e-mail to GoodYear asking if the Duratrac has the snowflake mark, and here is the answer that I got:

    Quote:
    Dear Nicholas

    Thank you for your email,

The Duratrac sold in Europe does not have the mountain snowflake mark.

The European web pages are being changed to reflect this

    Best Regards

So... Duratrac in the US is not the same as the Duratrac in the EU, and is here it is NOT classified as a winter tire!!

So... not more Duratracs for me!!

Can any one tell me how they compare to the Grabber AT3?
