Disable gesture boot opening?
Is there a setting to disable? Can’t find anything in the manual. Truck was in garage with garage door closed, my Labrador (English style!) activated it inadvertently, fortunately I caught the lift gate before it impacted. Cheers.

But won't pulling that fuse disable the opening function completely. i.e prevent the door from being opened by any method??
I would suggest finding some way of disabling /shielding the rear sensors,
3.0 HSE. climate HUD active diff. elec towbar. FBH and timed climate.Capability plus pack.split TV. surround sound. Intelligent seating. adaptive lights, wade sensing. 360 cameras.pro pack.cooler.advanced tow, auto park, activity key+ more!!!!

Not according to the wiring schematics. It says “hands free tailgate left and right.” There’s another fuse for the button tailgate release.
Put it this way, if you try it and it doesnt work, you’ve lost 5 mins tops.

Mine seemed to have disabled itself for the past few weeks. I jet washed under the car yesterday and got about a tonne of mud out from under the bumper where the sensor is. It works again now.
