    Weather

Not too bad today, the wind has dropped, but chilly, not much snow - yet.

The back of the Health Centre at Torridon, Wester Ross today.

We’ve had minus 25C a couple of years ago. It felt warm when we got to minus 10C. I suppose you get used to it. I am a sort of T shirt and fleece kind of person, it has to be really quite cold to put a jumper on.

I got used to the weather here fairly quickly but then I was a soft southerner from East Anglia Smile

Have to say one of the nice things about the D5 is the heated steering well, I don't like wearing gloves when driving and now I rarely have to.

Yeah, got one of those too. It’s scorching, SWMBO car has one too, but not a patch on the D5.

I do find that if there is snow/ice at the base of the side windows that cannot be dislodged by my brush or scraper, I need to use max defrost as the windows fog up, not complaing though Very Happy

We had a bit of snow a few days ago, reckon we have 4 to 5 foot snow banks and hard packed snow on our road, no salt gets used on this road so a little fun can be had!!!!
