Curry Hook
For all these years I thought that you lot were adding glamour to a bag holding catch by christening it the 'Curry Hook'. Many words were typed on D3 about finding the curry hook.
So, was there REALLY a curry hook in early Discoveries or was that your own personal name for a useful and accessible catch/clip to hold the takeaway spill free whilst going home?
I see the D5 spec includes the following item description as standard equipment on the HSE
Shopping Bag Hook on the side of the console (Curry Hook)
Has the forum managed to add new words to the JLR lexicon?

Well I am old enough to remember Disco1's launch and they had bag hangers on the boot sides on certain models and then one of the upgrades in Disco2 was the deletion of those and the addition of a Curry Hook (especially for take away meal carrier bags!) on the passenger side of the transmission tunnel............... So your meal didn't leak out or slide around in the boot, it leaked out onto the foot well trim instead......................
