    Keyless locking and gesture opening of tailgate not working.

    I cannot get the keyless locking or gesture tailgate opening to work. On my old Disco 4 the keyless could be turned off with the remote, (3presses of the light button followed by the lock or unlock button) .this doesn't work on the Disco 5.
    Is there a method of enabling the system if it has been turned off. I have checked the fuses as indicated in the owners manual with no luck, they are OK. Any suggestions or other ways of switching the keyless/ gesture would be appreciated.

    It may be turned off via the fob, if you go on YouTube you can see how to switch the facility on and off. I choose to switch my keyless entry off from a security point of view. Good luck. Mark

    Keyless locking

    The keypad to able/disable the keyless locking /gesture operation doesn't seem to work on 2019 MY Disco 5's, or it doesn't on mine. I have searched the internet as you suggested and can find no reference to the Disco 5. Any suggestions welcome.

    Just something obvious to be sure of first....is your car equipped with keyless entry and gesture tailgate? Has it worked for you in the past but now stopped or has it never worked?

    Keyless not working

    As the second owner I don't know if it has ever worked, but everyone that I talk to seems to expect that it would be fitted and should work.

    Pretty sure SE’s don’t have either feature. My Anniversary is based on SE and I don’t have them.

    I aim for underneath the rear most parking sensor on the side. usually works. Wink

    I’ve got it perfected since covid kicked off in February. Needing to use it pretty much all the time, rather than rarely, meant that I nailed the technique.
