    Locking with tailgate open

    Evening,

    Can anyone advise whether it is possible to lock the D5 with the tailgate open?

    Context to the question; I’ve got a large lockable dog crate in the boot, which is fixed. I wanted to be able to leave the dogs in the vehicle with the tailgate open, but the rest of the car locked. The dog crate will of course also be locked.

    Yes,
    Lock the car then open the tailgate. The rest of the car will stay locked.

    Best lock with one one stage only as the double lock will set off alarm with dog movement or air pressure Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
