Joined a few mins ago so looking round.
Sorry I didn’t join earlier as I’ve had the car since the end of July last year. I’m in my 19th year with the Discovery Owners Club and I’m now the ex-editor of the club mag “Discourse” (for the third time).
I used to be a member on Disco 3 as I owned “Lara” a 55 plate from new for over 10yrs so major Disco fan.
There was a Disce 1 for 5yrs before thattoo.
I’m looking forward to getting into this site but please bear with me as I learn what’s what.

Disco 1 200TDi
Disco 1 300TDi S
Disco 1 300TDi ES
Disco 2 TD5 S
Disco 2 TD5 Landmark
Disco 3 S
Disco 3 XS
Disco 4 XS
Disco 4 SE Tech
and now
Disco 5 HSE
First one was back in 1992.

Now gone - D5 HSE 2Ltr in Corris with black roof, black & dynamic packs & 22" black alloys, a bit of a change after 2 D3's and 2 D4's
Not quite as impressive as Al, but have done TD5 Disco, then D3 (and still have a 15 year old D3 with 275K miles on). Agonised for ages over what to buy next, and went for a D5 SD6 HSE a month or so ago. Utterly superb car - totally love it.
Welcome to the group. I’ve only had Discoveries for a little over a year (19 plate D5 rejected and replaced by a 20 plate D5, both MY20). Feel like I’ve been missing out, especially when I read posts like yours!
