  Rear light seal

  What does everyone think of the rear light seal ? if you open the boot and look at the seal its not attached at the rear light. You can just flick it open with your finger and see inside of the rear wing. What stops water running down the door seal and into the wing ? obviously not the seal !

  I havent looked at mine, but if its like the D3/D4 then the space behind the rear lights was open to the elements, as there was another structure behind it before you got into the car. The rear light wiring (and wiring for the towing electrics) sat in that space. It was open at the bottom so water (if it did get in) just ran out
