    Instrument display warning

    Hello, looking for some help please. When first started my Discovery is displaying the picture with a graphic of the car from above with the roof rail above the drivers head highlighted. I think this indicates a possible fault but no warning lights illuminate and when I had the vehicle serviced recently at a main agent they told me it was normal. The graphic does cancel and disappear off the display when the vehicle has been driven a mile or so. Is this correct?

    That's the seat belt information. If a seat is occupied there is the symbol of a person in it. If the person is wearing their seat belt the symbol is green, if not it is red.

    Your picture is just telling you that it's only the driver in the car and you've got your seat belt on.

    It is normal.
