I understand...
If you have the TD6, you will have to modify Lucky8's .
Good luck! post up your pics too!

Thanks for that info.
If I have to modify the lucky8 tray for the td6, then I will just keep the WildBear tray that is already fitted to mine.
I was thinking of changing because I have some issues with mine that WildBear have to resolve, but due to Covid I have already been waiting nearly 9 months as I cannot go over to the UK.

I fitted the lucky8 tray this week on a 2017 hse lux.
Tray fits perfect, radar sensor goes back in the same position but I spaced mine approx 40mm in front of the original bumper support using 65mm x 6 bolts and locking nuts. Ensure it’s parallel to the bumper support and the bumper covers it. It all works as it should.
It appears the early d5’s had the radar mounted inside the bumper support like mine which interferes with the winch fitting.
Later D5 appears to have the radar mount external of the bumper support so not needing to space it out.
I took the electrical feed from the jump start points under the bonnet.

May I ask... Was this a diesel or petrol... It makes a difference with some of the colland pipes.

The coolant hose if released from the clips on the engine side was long enough to turn the fitting 180 degrees so not touching the tray. I then used some gas hose that I split to form a sheath on the edge of the tray to stop the hose rubbing on the tray with the vibration of the car

Sounds good......
. In the mean time a deer hit my D5, and insurance totalled it. So I took all my gear off. I bought another D5 in orange TD6. I get to do all the installs all over again....LOL

At least you’ll be better prepared for fitting it this time.

I didn’t take any of the install but I can take some of the finished article and through the bumper showing the sheath I fitted to the edge of the tray around the coolant pipe.

That would be great. Also a front shot of the finished install too.
Thanks

I’m trying to post the photos but I keep getting the error message as they upload to the site server. I’ll keep trying.
