    Tailgate not closing

Hi Guys -My D5 has yet another gremlin where by when I press any of the auto buttons or key fob to close the tailgate, it get to within 12" of closing and then opens up again?

I let the vehicle completely shut down and then tried it again but still the same.

Any possible help would be greatly appreciated. Thumbs Up

A guess, but is the plank properly pulling back in. When I’ve had a bag or whatever marginally foul the plank closing, the tailgate behaves as you describe.
