    4 bike carrier recommendation

Hi all, looking for a tow ball carrier for on holiday, to take 2 adult and two kids bikes

Is it worth spending circa 600 on the Thule

    TIA

    I have a 2016 Thule EuroClassic G6 with the 4th bike adapter.

Fully recommend it, easy to use, tilt away is enough for the Disco boot to open, etc.

My only annoyances are that it you can’t fold it up when on the car after you remove the bikes (it folds once off the car) and it doesn’t have any wheels so moving it around is cumbersome.

However, the more recent models are better in the latter regard.

I have a buzz-rack for 2 heavy e-mtbs. Very solid and easy to use. Highly recommended. Don’t know how price compares to Thule.

I've had an Atera Strada bike rack with the optional 4th bike extender. It worked really well on the D3/4 as it folded away from the car, even when fully loaded, to allow full access to the boot.

Have not tried it yet on the D5, not sure if the tailgate will still clear it when folded down. However, it's a really solid bike rack and great for even 4 full-size bikes.
