    Advice re Thule Motion XT roof box - L or XL?

    Hi all

    Looking to buy a roof box next week and like the look of the Thule Motion XT boxes.

    Unsure on sizing - went into Halford and the XL looks massive but have been advised this would be the best option for my Discovery 5.

    Anyone got to XL version? Able to share any pics?

    Stock of Large very low so I may have to just go for the XL.

    I have the Motion 900 which I believe is the old version of what you are looking at.

    It is great. I have used it many times. Very happy with it.

    My very old (1998) Thule roof box is still providing sterling service and at 2.4M long fits neatly on Thule cross rails. It looks enormous in storage suspended from my garage ceiling but doesn’t look at all out of place on a large vehicle like my D5.
