Is it even possible to retrofit this system?
Currently running a third party system which is a bit of a nightmare to unscrew off the cape every time we off-road so was just wondering if anyone managed to hack it?
Challenges include getting the harness to the location at the cabin backseat light, getting sensors fitters to tyres (easiest), getting the receiver itself fitted and then perhaps reprogramming the CFF?
In sunny South Africa TPMS is a non-standard optional extra believe it or not. Forget that it’s supposed to be a safety feature. Currently the cheapest cars on the market feature this but alas no LR SA!
I’ve checked the car specs and it was definitely not included. Also opened the middle roof light and there was no TPMS receiver module.
I couldn't easily see if there was a harness with the wiring lurking there either. It’s supposed to be in the headliner as below.
