    MY23 Already????

So its 2021, LR announced the facelifted MY21 a bit late and not surprisingly it wasn't long before MY22 was announced on time and without any noticeable changes.

Typically, MY23 would have been announced about May 22 and deliveries start Sept 22 but they've announced MY23 already. Does that mean that deliveries will start earlier or just that no one is getting a new build before September?

So what about MY24? Is it now going to be 18+ months before the next MY is announced? Is MY24 going to be the D6 with all-electric plug in battery stuff? Or will it be the old Series II with no microchips and just a new body shell to make it look like an Evoque?

    Confused..... Confused Confused Confused

its crazy, i ordered just last week and I've been back and forth with the dealer last 2 days with the nuances coming out in the spec changes and the associated deal i agreed.

Did the my22 not come with any spare? I'm being told the MY23 just has a tyre repair system you have to option a Space saver or full size. Default is Manual 3rd row as well.

Yeah, I did notice the changes on the configurator. What do you do? Go with the flow or tell them to stuff off.

exactly I'm asking them to honour the price for the spec agreed which means they need to add a few bits to the MY23 and find more discount. I think i know what their answer will be Laughing

given its likely 9 months to a year away from delivery and confirming a spec ill prob stick for now and see how things pan out.

Manual third row. Sounds like a handful of microchips saved. No big loss though. I’m no great fan of the electric second and third rows.

Yep, sadly got to admit, I no longer raise an eyebrow when JLR do this. You expect it and yet we all know we shouldn’t.

It's probably called MY23 as that's when the delivery is expected. Shocked
