Remote Engine Start and Secure Tracker Pro
Does anyone have Secure Tracker Pro and use the remote engine start? (Not diesel heater). They hadn't cleared my app so I phoned them up on this again today and it's not cleared but having a chat with the guy and apparently there's 2 reasons the theft alert goes off commonly when it's not stolen.
1. Using Remote Start when the keys not in the car (What's the point of that?)
2. If you have to press the start button twice
I used Remote Start only twice so far, first time it was fine but second time I've had this. Surely kind of defeats the purpose if it's going to set off the stolen alert when used.
Wondering if this is something to do with Secure Tracker Pro being a Thatcham Cat 5 and having a second authentication in the keys vs Secure Tracker?
Going to have to try it again soonish I guess. Will be annoyed if I cannot use this and didn't get the diesel heater I ordered either.

I only use the remote start occasionally (I have the FBH) and i've never had a theft alert yet.
