Well even with a clean licence and clean driving history, my insurance always seems on the high side, Admiral pointed at this http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/persona...table.html

    ........charming

When I'm not in the operating theatre, I'm mountain biking, spending time with my family, running and socialising. I have a Discovery 5 HSE Lux with pretty much every option ticked. This is my first ever Land Rover. Been a rocky road with regards to reliability but we're getting there.

£318 for the year, I renewed my D4 in January for £340. The quote's from my current insurer so hopefully come nearer the time I get a slight refund Very Happy

Well I must say it sound's quite encouraging. Pleased with those answers. The wife will be over the moon that I could save £20 or £30 quid, shame I'll have to spend £25000 to achieve it. Shocked
    Thanks for getting back.

Set up my insurance today, £69.43 increase but I did list all my factory fit options, that also includes the obligatory £25 admin fee.

    Safer in the D5!

We occasionally use our own car for work to attend a conference or meeting. So, like everyone else here I have to use the Roadmarque system to put in my licence data and driving hours etc so that our risk team can see how risky we are.
I updated mine today putting in the D5 to replace the X5 and my risk rating has dropped a notch. Pity my insurers didn't agree!

    Insurance Troubles

My current insurer and those that my broker have gone out to are all insisting on a CAT5 or CAT7 tracker device being fitted to the D5 otherwise they wont insure.

    Anybody else having issues?

    Any insurer recommendations ?

I had the same issue with the broker wanting a tracker. Hastings premier were the best deal, still more than my D4 though. Big Cry

£265 with Hastings Direct including protected no claims and legal cover. Can't sniff at that.
