    23MY Heated Mirrors

This morning it was very humid. When ascending a hill the temperature outside changed causing the windscreens and mirrors to fog up. Turned the heated screens on and they cleared quickly, however, the mirrors did not clear. Reading the manual it says they operate when the rear screen is used subject to external temperature. The outside temperature was 15C - what temperature does it have to get down to for the mirrors to heat and clear? It would make sense for them to operate whenever the rear screen is utilised. My vehicle is a D300 Metropolitan so I believe heated mirrors are standard. Any thoughts?

The heated mirrors are completely automatic and work independently of the windscreen / rear screen heater. I doubt they would come on at all with double-digit temperatures.
