animated indicators
My Disco D300 S has been built and I am awaiting delivery. I did not add the option for the animated indicators which I see can be added to a build option for £100. Can this be easily retro fitted by the dealer when he gets the vehicle delivered ? What type of installation is it i.e. an addition of an electrical/wiring component etc, software update or is it complete new indicator units?

Can’t answer exactly but can tell you that some came out without it working and went back to dealers who got it working. Not sure if there was any additional components or just a software patch but it has been done
Namib Orange 1st Edition with black roof and wheels.
Privacy, tow bar, drive pack, surround camera, heated front & rear seats, auto dim door mirrors, side steps, remote Pro, RSE, arm rest fridge dash cam front and rear.

JLR don’t have a good track record for retro fitting. Their stance tends to be “that’s the car we are warranting, any additions after build are at odds with that warranty”.
They wouldn’t add all round cameras on mine…despite the complete wiring loom being present. The only recourse was to get an Indy to do it ….which arguably contravened JLR warranty.
