Deployable tow bar issues
I recently got a 2017 D5 ES
It was fitted new with the deployable tow bar. It would appear that the previous owner had issues with the tow bar locking into place and subsequently they removed the deployable part of the tow bar due to a MOT failure. The tow section on screen said something like "tow bar not available, visit the dealer".
I have since sourced the missing part and fitted it today. The message on the screen said "do you want to reset to deployed position". I clicked yes and I could hear the motor doing something. When checked the towbar is now loose and the message on the dash says its not available again. That's it, it won't do anything and the button in the boot isn't flashing etc. I have tried the reset process but does nothing.
At the weekend I will disconnect everything from the module and switches etc to see if that has any effect. Are there fuses I can check?
Any other ideas? Cheers

Update..
Issue now resolved. The dealer had disconnected the button in the boot to hide the flashing led indicating an issue. Plugged it back in and normal operation resumed.
