    Under bonnet crustation / white spotting

    Looked at a Disco 5 and was surprised to see unsightly crustation under the bonnet- on the bonnet strikers and on the black sound proofing material.

    Any ideas what could have has caused this please (never seen anything like it before)?

    Yes it’s road salt unless you had a happy time with filling the ad blu.

    It was on mine (from previous owner) and I washed it off with a car detailing all purpose cleaner.
