Massage seats option - any good?
Never sat in a car with massage seats before, but if I do take the Disco option, I'm considering adding it for £800 as I have so many back issues!
Is it a good feature? Or a gimmick?
I mean, is there much pressure in the massage or just like something's tickling you through the seat?
Intrigued..

I have it, and find it useless!!
I feels like someone sticking their knuckles in to my back. Cannot get it the right place for me.
But… my wife (who is shorter than me) says it is fine.
Best would be to try one and see if you like it.

Our D5 is the second car we've had with massage seats. In the first car, they were standard fit, yet I deemed it reasonable to stump up the extra this time around.
For me, they come under the 'nice to have' category; whereas matrix lights, head up display and interactive dash, for example, would be essentials. A very subjective list
On long journeys, I find the occasional massage relaxing, helping to relieve tension. I suspect they would do little to ease any genuine aches and pains, and now I think of it, £800 would pay for quite a few sessions with an excellent sports therapist.

Sorry, didn't answer one question.
Yes, lots of pressure. I certainly don't run them on max.
