Camping weekend at Anita’s in Banbury Report post
Some of you may remember in the past I have arranged a camping weekend at Anita’s caravan park in Banbury.
The site has a large field at the back which allows us all to pitch together, some of the pitches have electric and they are all grass. There is toilet and shower facilities as well and we have been allowed fire pits previously.
These weekends have always been a family weekend with time to chill, talk to other like minded people and spend time with the kids. We have also in the past done runs out and a pay a play off road trip but that was a good hours drive away.
I have not organised one of these for a few years now for a number of reasons one of them being the pandemic.
However at the end of last year we lost a good a good friend and long term member of this site Paul Fellows (Blueanchorinn) who many of you knew and had had the pleasure of meeting.
So I thought it was time to organise another event at Anita’s for people to get together and enjoy a relaxing weekend and also to celebrate Paul. I have spoken to his family who are happy for this to go ahead.
So having spoken to Anita’s the weekend of the 9th and 10th Sep is available.
I will get a poll added to this post in the net couple of days so people can register but i. the mean time if you are interested please post here.
Once we have a rough idea of numbers I will confirm the booking with Anita’s after that it will be down to individuals to boo and pay for their weekend pitches.
