    Auto dip behaviour

    I have noticed that if I force a headlamp "dip" instead of leaving the dip for the Auto Dip to dip the beam, the Auto Dip function is switched off and isn't restored until the car ignition has been switched off and on again. Is this normal action? Is there a way of switching Auto Dip back on without stopping the car? Thanks

    I flick it on full and then dip, it seems to go to auto then.
