    Wipers, aftermarket or OEM

    I’m after wipers for the front, the ones in the car don’t clear nice, or the screen is a bit greasy. I’ll clean the screen anyway but I think the wipers have had better days.

    I can get OEM ones for about £40 for front pair or from what I read, Bosch come up highly rated (A123S)’s? These are about £26.

    Anyone have the Bosch and are they just as decent? It’s more the fitting for me as sometimes aftermarket ones have different attachments which can make them not fit as good.

    I have the Bosch ones on my D5 and cannot complain. They seem to be as good as the originals.

    I thought the Disco 5 Bosch wipers were A113S?

    I replaced originals with Bosch. No problems.

    Cheers, now ordered. £23 off Amazon.

    I’ll be deep cleaning the screen too, as the auto wipers are shockingly too quick for even light rain, reading up the sensors are pretty sensitive to dirt and grease. Fingers crossed.

    Just an update, after Amazon messing the order up, the same set for £20 set off eBay was the winner.

    I also gave the windscreen a thorough deep clean and the auto wipers are behaving as expected now.
