      D300 Oil Service IntervalOK, so who's chancing leaving the oil in their engine for 2 years or 21,000 miles? 
 
 If not, what oil change interval are you aiming for?
 
 I've decided on every 7k... as it's highly unlikely I'll get to 2 years before 21k miles, so keeps the maths easy.

      Well I'm definitely waiting to see the answers on this one.
 
 My D300 is approaching 90k miles and I was considering introducing interim servicing rather than the LR recommended 22k.
 
 7K does seem a bit early though.
 
 I used to do it every 10k with my 3 previous D4's at this mileage so it's almost in my DNA now!

      Had mine in March and just hit 17,000 miles levels are fine and oil looks good on the dipstick,

      Mine got it it's first service at 21k and 18 months. It's on track for it's second service at 42k and 3 years.

      With modern lubricants there is no need for interim servicing, thats why they are so expensive.  You are better off buying the best oil you can and sticking to the mileage .
